thats good to hear!!, i REALLY want to adopt a baby rosella but so far its been EXTREMELY difficult to find any baby rosellas......im so upset about it because i really love these birds.
right now im looking at possibley adopting a kakariki and/or a cockatiel but if i do i won't be able to get a rosella because i don't have the space for all their cages so i might hold off until i find a rosella.

Where are you located? I know a breeder here in Denmark but if you are in USA its kinda far :) I will probably be getting a baby rosella when her pair breeds, my Joe could use the company.

i actually live in canada...if i lived in the states it would be much easier to locate one because i know there are a few very large breeders there so finding a baby would be really easy but unfortunately here i have to rely on local breeders....although we do have a few larger breeders who ship across canada it is still difficult to get a hold of babies here....thanks for the offer though ;). ill have to wait and keep looking....i placed an ad recently online at a popular classified site here and i expect to hear some good news in the near future.

When I was a kid my family had an Eastern Rosella. Awesome bird to say the least. Don't believe everything you read online; I know a lot of the websites say they're aviary birds, not good talkers, etc. Not true! Our bird could say at least 50 words if not more and was extremely tame. She would whistle and talk all the time and go to any of the family members. What is true is that they like to take baths and chew wood toys. Absolutely beautiful birds, if you ever come accross a hand tamed baby you've found a rare treasure.
