My new Flock Members

Postby Mum2rory » Sat Nov 26, 2011 1:00 am

Been away for a while (very busy) but thought I would post about my new little ones.

I saw a blue Quaker in our Trading Post, so hee joined the family on October 13th - Malakai (Kai) is his name - dna'd male. He is now buddies with Bailey

Then last Monday, Rhyly Tiel joined the family. I am so happy to have a tiel back in my life. As much as I love all my birds equally and for different reasons, I do have to say, for me, tiels are the best. I know many people dont "like" tiels, but they are definitely the whole package. He wolf whistles (which is why he was "the one' for me. How could an old girl like me walk past a tiel that thinks I am good enough to rate a whistle?) and imitates the phone ringing - love him so much.

My other new thing is a ----- brand new car, which has been long overdue. My previous car was on its last wheels, poor old thing.

Great! Congratulations on the new family members. Yes, tiels are pretty much the whole package, I love them. My tiel, Ladu, has learnt to wolf whistle, say hello (in 2 different languages), say bye (in 2 different languages) whistle a few songs. They learn so quick!
