I never owned one so I all I can say is talk about what I've heard from some owners I've met.
All of them mentioned they tend to be nippy and that the bites can be unpredictable. Some say it's probably more out of playing than aggression though.
However, all owners I've met wouldn't trade their birds for anything.
Personally, it's not so much the possible nippiness as the extra energy that makes me not want to get one. I like my birds more laid back
