He sure is a sweet little guy/gal. Wasn't expecting the husband to bring a bird home though. Going to look at cages in a few minutes. Thanks for the help, sir. Myself (and the bird) thank you...A LOT. Time for some research.

Haha, my male cinnamon green cheek screams if I leave the room because he likes me, and only me. He tolerates my dad because he gives him fruit.

This little guy (I have no clue if it is male, really.) screams a LOT. Right in my ear even. AS he is kissing me. lol. But I am in awe of him. Always wanted a bird...always. Was never the right time. I'm a stay at home mom now, perfect timing. He's such a well behaved little guy. I want more facts about him. How can I tell if it is a Him? How can I tell age? I've been on this site a lot today looking at things and learning as much as I can!!!

Well for gender you cant tell but as for age, your birdy has many different colors and they are bright, which typically means that he/she is an adult. Most Nandays grow into all of the colors in a few(2-3) years.

I will have to post more pictures (batteries are dead as of now and phone pics just plain suck), but to me his colors are bright. That said, it doesn't take much for me to think that either. lol. One more that I find to be of great importance...does an every day VET care for these birds or am I on the look for a special vet? I figured I'd call tomorrow to check, but was just curious. As far as male/female...I'll let my daughter pick a gender. lol. She'll love it. lol
