How loud are Green Cheek Conures?

How loud are green cheeked conures? Or a better question, how consistent? There really cute and I dont really mind any of the "cons" besides noisiness. I dont live in an apartment or anything but im pretty sensitive to loud,high pitched noises. (my sister has a pomeranian and when my sister leaves (or sometimes when she comes BACK) she yaps over and over sometimes till she comes back. If they are worse then that I might not be able to handle it.) Like do they squawk over and over and over and over and over or is it just every once in a while. And is it SUPER loud? (like give you a headache?)
I know it depends on individual bird but im just wondering what people who have them think about there noise.

mine has a high pitched squeak when he gets excited usually when he's on my shoulder watching his videos or other birds on youtube right in my ear. if you can't tolerate high pitched noise parrots are probably not the right pet for you.

Well no I CAN tolerate it but i cant tolerate it if its constant.

That will depend on their life situation and how you teach it to behave.

Parrots are by nature quite noisy though, so if you think you will have an issue with this it might not be the ideal pet/companion for you!

I say if you cant handle the noise don't get one because there is always a chance it might be loud, and you wouldn't want to rehome it. My male gcc is very loud, especially when I am not with him but he does not do it for a long time. My female gcc however hardly ever makes noise.

I have a Sun Conure and a GCC. I am currently sitting a Jenday and two additional GCC's. The owner of the Jenday told me that it might be louder than my Sun Conure.

Day one, Morning: Nope, my GCC is louder than both. Not decibel-wise, but consistency-wise. SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH SCREECH to infinity.

GCC's CAN definitely scream constantly, and non-stop for the whole morning. During the day, though, mine are completely silent. I could almost forget they are there at all. But, I guess it depends on the bird, and also the training.

Our two might not be conures, but they are fairly quiet during the day. About an hour before bedtime though, just like with kids, they start to make noise and act up! ^^

My green cheek Furbie, that I've had since he was weaned, is a complete angel. He only screams when we leave the house, and when he sees us coming back, or if something really scares him. But it isn't consistent, he lets out a few loud squaks and stops. However, we had a pair of rescue green cheeks that had been through an awful ordeal, and they were LOUD, and I mean screaming constantly...but they were also very nervous and had been neglected.

I guess it differs from bird to bird, but as a general rule (and there are exceptions), green cheeks tend to be one of the quieter birds...especially as far as conures are concerned.
