Hi Sophia. :) I have a Jenday Conure!
I would suggest a budgie, or a quaker parrot for you. I know you liked Ringnecks and they are supposed to be very cool birds but a lot of work. :)

Tiels, budgies, lovebirds (although these need to handled daily to avoid aggression issues), parrotlets (same as lovies) linneolated parakeets, the brotogeris family if you can find them might be another option.

Since I myself have both, I'm gonna have to ditto the cockatiel & budgie responses. They can do everything on your "to-do list", and then some :-)

I wouldn't trade mine for ANYthing!

Green Cheek Conure or a quieter version of this, the Black-cap Conure. You should research all the suggested species throughly before deciding which one's best for you.

Cockatiels are awesome birds, hopefully you decide to get such a bird to love! Actually, it was a cockatiel who stole my heart and made me want a bird many years ago. They can learn to whistle tunes quite well.
