right i bought 2 kakarikis that are now 4 months old.i was told they were both female, turns out ones a male and now i got eggs.
strange thing is no nest box was used!!
i have incubated the eggs at a heat of 95 F and stored them in a nest box in the incubator on a towel.
i have never bred this bird before so its all new to me and with kakarikis being so rare in england im struggling to find information anywhere.i will list my questions and if anyone can answer please do i will be very grateful.
1.how will i no if the eggs are "good"?
2.if i wish to hand rear them what action should i take once hatched?
3.iv bought formula but what else should i be feeding them in their first weeks
