Your photo looks like San Francisco. Is that where you live because if that's a wild one, its probably from the wild flock of Cherry Heads at Telegraph Hill, also they're spreading to Brisbane and there's another flock in Sunnyvale. I live in the bay area and I can see the bay in your photo. Looks like the bird is outside....so is that a wild one that landed on your balcony? If it is, and if it is having trouble flying, can you get it to the vet if you can handle it? In San Fran they catch a parasite from the water they drink from that is in puddles on the rooftops, and they get ill because of the raccoons that carry that parasite and also drink from the same water puddles. Mickaboo knows them well and has a program to rescue them. The parasite cripples them neurologically. But if that is your bird you might wanna keep him indoors, they are escape artists and he can get lift and fly away if there is a wind with an updraft.... hence the loose wild flocks.

Hi, sorry took me so long to respond. No, its just a generic picture off internet. I'm west coast but up in Canada. I haven't found any around here..Seems to be more breeders out east. At least in Canada...but then again I could just be missing the western ones somehow.
