my 2 most uncommon would be my western long billed corella and my lutino scaly breated lorikeet.

I know this is an older thread, but Lulu is definitely an uncommon parrot. :) She is a blue mutation of the yellow-naped Amazon. Apparently they are highly sought after by some..... And I bought her at a petshop for almost nothing because she was very sick.
Who needs people when we've got parrots?

Wow Lindsey, Blue mutation Amazons are really beautiful! I just love blue parrots.

I thought my Skippy the Jardine's was rare- he's the only of his kind in my geographical area to my knowledge- but in my brief time here on the forum I've noticed a couple others who have one as well.

zaftig, that would depend on your location and jardines subspecies. if you live in usa and have a black wing, id say you own a very rare bird.

I didn't realize there were subspecies- fascinating! I just looked up blackwing Jardine's, and sure enough that's what my Skippy looks like. I live in Alaska.
