see this is the kinda posts i like. People who arent so quick to judge someone. Ya i can see that there really is no answer to whose the best. But it does help that a lot of people do own senegals and that must be for a reason. Thanks for your post.

Also if anyone know of any other pros or cons for senegal compared to other parrots, let me know.

Hi Nir....I think you are getting frustrated because the question leads to a "it depends" answer. It all comes down to socialization. When I got my :senegal: Oscar I got bit many times, lots of blood, etc. He didnt want a lot to do with me. BUT through lots of time, patience, forum reading, internet research, and self education I have transformed him (or should I say he transformed) into a sweet, loving parrot that knows many tricks, getting progressively better at free-flight (he was clipped previously), has a lot more confidence and is just a much happier parrot in general. So to sum it up....it comes down to how well you socialize and the background of said bird. If YOU dont do things correctly, the bird will bite to get what he wants, and wont want much to do with you. BTW I rarely if ever get bit now.....but they definitely have their mood swings.

Hope this helps..
