Yes I read the Mytoos site however I was already aware of the issues with cockatoos. I personally believe that they are more difficult than Senegals but not in aggressive behavior, rather their neediness. They need more attention, period. I will probably work 9 to 5 till I die and I don't want any animal (including kiddies) that needs more attention than I can give. Yes my little Nika wants the same amount of attention probably but she won't implode without it. I think cockatoos sound amazing. A cuddly, sweet, large, intelligent parrot! Awesome! But not the other stuff. I would love to borrow one (pet sit or something) for a couple weeks or months but the idea of a creature, with an incredible mental capacity, and emotional needs, but the constant needs of a small child, that will outlive me is mind boggling.

I am not saying that people on here like yourself that have cockatoos are doing wrong by them I just think in general they have more needs than a human can provide. :]

LOL that is funny. Anyone coming here leaves saying "if I were a dog or cat or bird I would want to live here".

The bunny I am fostering until I can rehome is running with Rambo and the dogs. They have accepted him as one of my kids.
