Baby Cape Parrot? You may need to lay towels or pillows at the bottom. They make a big thud when they fall down

As Michael stated, they are bold. Our Dexter is a male and is very headstrong. He prefers my wife and still bites her when he doesn't get his way. He will let me scratch his head and will usually step up on me to get out of his cage...or to get to my wife! He loves foot toys and is housed in our living room in a 3' x 4' x 6' cage and he uses every bit of it. He is very playfull and entertaining. He is also vocal and whistles a lot. We love listening to all his noises and mimicry! He has a Lot of energy, much more than our Vasa, Iggy who in comparison is a lot more laid back. Dexter does not care for other birds however and has challenged Iggy and Quincy our Sun conure if they get too close. He only cuddles her and only for a short time in the evening.

Well, I'm back from my holiday to the Dutch Caribean, which was great! I got to see some Greenwinged Macaws out there. They arent wild Macaws because they dont live there in the wild but a inn-keeper is the owner of those macaws and let's them fly free over the island, although they do tend to keep close to the hotel. There were 6 green winged macaws and 2 harlequin, but they're not all on the video. This is the video I made of the macaws:

And since last week, I'm the proud owner of my little baby cape parrot named Skull!
Skull is now almost 6 months old and reallllllyyyy cute. We picked him up and together with the breeder we went to the vet to get him checked and to get some of his blood to get him tested for any birds diseases. He's now still in quarantine in our bedroom and this or next week when we get the test results, he'll be able to meet our two eclectus!
As you might have read, Skull is totally parentraised and so I braced myself when we took him home. But he's just the sweetest thing, not scared or skittish at all. He takes food from my hand and lets me touch me, he doesnt enjoys it yet but he doesnt run off or bites. He hasnt bitten me once. When I had to get him out the cage because I wanted to check his weight he did step up after a while when he understood what I wanted him to do. He's just been such a good, brave bird, I cant believe he is already this tame. I havent needed any pillows yet cause he hasnt fallen down and is actually very carefull all the time. Here is a video of me trying to get Skull to play with the toy:

I put some walnut in the toy because he's crazy for walnuts! Isnt he just the sweetest thing?

Thanks so much. At first I was kinda worried about him being parent raised because I had no experience with birds that arent tame, but he's being lovely and as long as we are taking it slow, I think he'll turn out to be a great parrot! In the Netherland were I live, it's actually forbidden by the law since the first of january this year to hand feed parrots. I don't actually know how they want to check if people dont hand feed their baby parrots, and what the punishment will be if you do.

So, skull has been with us for over 3 weeks now and it's going great! He's very sweet, hasnt bitten me once and makes the cutest noises. He is very playful and is starting to become friends with my 2 eclectus boys. He isnt clumpsy at all, he never falls down like everyone said he would.
We already love him some much!

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks!
