Thanks janetafloat! Yes, he always has a happy face, thats what I like about him too!

And for the rest, you know what I find really disapointing about this forum?
Whenever there is something to critizise, there are people who are eager to give there opinion or tell you what you should do instead of what you want to/are doing. But whenever things are going great there's hardly a response.
Like the fact that I bought Skull a cage that people thought would be to big or to high for Capes because they fall alot and I should really use pillows on the bottom so he couldnt fall hard or that I shouldnt clip my birds etc etc. People respond to that but whenever I tell everything is going great, and he doenst fall at all and show some pictures of him, no response.
Sometimes I think a lot of people are only here to wine and judge people rather than to enjoy pictures and stories from other bird owners who give them a view on how they live with their birds.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not waiting for a thousand comments like: ohhhh how lovely etc. but I've noticed this a couple of times already with me or on other topics that people only like to respond whenever there is something to complain about.

I think its great that you bought a new cage, and if he would have had balance problems, I am sure you would have done something about it ;). Buying a small cage just because a cape might have balance problems when he's little sounds rather stupid to me.

Oh and Skull is really cute ;), just as your two eclectuses!

But whenever things are going great there's hardly a response.

I dont agree with this, sometimes it might be so yes, but generally, I see lots of happy comments on videos, pictures etc =)!

Well I'm only going to speak for me but I dont have alot of spare time so I'm going to answer posts where people are asking for help before any of the others.
I'm signed in most of the time but I do tend to leave this site running in the background whilst I'm working and check it quickly during the day whilst I'm waiting on the kettle to boil or something.

Whilst I do intend to reply to more of the "lighter" posts, sometimes by the time I actually have time to do so I have forgotton which I meant to go back and look for.

I'm glad your cape seems to be getting on so well and the pics are beautiful. I do hope you keep coming back and updating and dont let the lack of replies bother you.

Yes I would agree with some of what you say, it can seem like that sometimes. However, there's always help when/if it's needed and there are good hearted & knowledgeable people so there's a lot to be gained by being on here, I hope you keep coming back and adding your own 2 cents and beautiful pictures! :)

Well, maybe I misinterpreted some things but sometimes it just doesnt seem so warm and fuzzy here ;) I just think its a shame, and I dont mean that everyone is like that, not at all.
And I will come back here and post stories and pictures of my birds, I'm not scared away that easily

Skull is doing great and has become a very little cheeky little bird. He's friends with Phantom, not so much with Phoenix. He makes his own cute noises and does alot of the Eclectus noises as well.
He is very tame with me or anybody else, but doesnt really like to cuddle or being touched for that matter. But he listens really well and is quite the woodchipper

Here is a video of him when I just showered him and he was acting silly and being vocal, sometimes it looks like he tries to say something but maybe thats just me. Between 3.05 and 3.15 he does the sounds our eclectus make too..

Skull is becoming a big boy, I spotted some bright orange feathers on his shoulders and ankles :D

I also took him on his first bikeride last week in my selfmade bird basket!
He seemed a bit scared but also really exciting.

I also made a new tree for them to sit on outside

And these are 2 video's of the birds interacting with each other

I have some strong objections to things I see going on these pictures but I'm not going to mention them unless you want to know and work on them. I get labeled as mean or too negative when I stick my defense in for the bird when it wasn't asked for. If you wanna hear it and won't feel bad, let me know. Whether you do anything about it or not is still up to you.
