Hi everyone,
I have no experience with tiels but as a lovebird owner;
They are very demanding birds who require a lot of attention and work to be a good pet(this is the same for any parrot). They are very social, playful little things constantly getting up to some kind of mischief! And can also be very loud. The easiest way to describe owning one is like having a toddler, very short attention span! When they show you affection it is very rewarding but this requires dedication. Parrots are a long term commitment and you need to ensure you are 100% dedicated. One of the main reasons I chose a lovebird over any other small parrot is due to there stunning looks! Hopes this gives you an insight into owning a lovebird.
