Cherry Headed Conures

Does anyone have any experience with larger Conures, specifically Cherry headed?

I know of one for adoption at a shelter a few hours away. He is 20 years old and his previous owner died, he has a slight plucking problem but other than that no behavioral problems.

I currently have a very social GCC. How much louder are the Cherry headed conures? Are they as nippy as the GCC? How friendly are they usually?
