My macaw biggles is so friendly towards me and my wife he kisses both of us and loves cuddles. When he's in his cage with just the two of us he's fine but when my grandchildren turn up he gets all mad jumps at the cage at me if I get him out he bites me. As soon as they have gone he goes back to his usual happy loving friend.he stops slamming up the bars at me can someone give me some advice please :macaw:

How old are the children? Kids tend to make sudden movements and get excitable. That might be upsetting him?

Depending on the kids ages you can explain to them and teach them an appropriate way to behave around him. Again depending on their ages maybe you can get them involved with training him. But make sure they see you doing it first and they can be trusted to follow your direction.

It's not uncommon for birds to hate kids thy see younger children as competition when you spend time with them and they're similar sizes my corella and my aunties cockatoo hates very small children
