what is the consistency of his stools? it is possible that the chemical composition of Biggle's stool has changed for some reason, into a more runny consistency, and that instead of falling away from his body as usual, it is liquidy and staining the feathers on the underside of his tail, hence making them darker.

has there been any change recently in his diet or in his consumption of particular fruits, vegetables, or liquids?

it would be a good idea to visit the avian vet as soon as possible just to be on the safe side, in case its caused by an internal medical condition.

wishing all the best for Biggles :macaw: :)

Biggles stools have been more liquid then normal and ive only had him for 5 weeks and I think I am giving him more fruit than what his other owners did I give him as much fruit as he wants as I don't really like the seeds I am trying to get Biggles to change to pellets. I've got him booked into see Marie kubiak at edgebastan vets as she said to be the best round by us all tho it's a long drive but I only want the best for my new family member. Is water melon safe for him to eat and do I remove the skin and the pips or just give it him as it comes
