A colleage bought a CAG who was needing a new home due to a divorce.
For about eighteen months after she got him she heard snippets of quite acrimonius arguments by his previous owners.
He has gradually dropped them fortunatley and last I heard before I retired he only came out with them rarely.

I have always noted that most animals will tell you about their lives from before they came to you, if you just learn how to listen to their ways and means of communicating with us, but birds, since they can actually speak make it much easier for us to understand what they are telling us about.
