...I also love when they do the first half of the wolf whistle and then wait for you to finish with the 2nd half...cracks me up every time... :lol:

Ben, my tiel, does it every once in a while. I have no idea where he picked it up, but he started doing it shortly after I got him. Eventually I learned to do it from him. Shh, yeah, I know, it's supposed to be the other way around, but I couldn't whistle before I got the tiels. :mrgreen:

Excuse-me for a really dumb question, but English is my second language and I have never heard the expression " wolf whistle ". Can somebody explain it to me ?

Okay when a guy walks past a hot chick and he whistles lol. Thats the best I could do for ya lol. Oh and I think all my birds whistle the wolf whistle except for my macaw he has not whistled anything since I have had him a year ago. He does talk though.

Out of nowhere Kili did this when I was walking behind some girls at the street fair (and Kili hadn't been making this vocalization in a long time so it was completely out of nowhere). They were way younger and I had to explain that I can't whistle if my life depended, swear it was the parrot! :lol:

Now if only I could get her to whistle for me when I actually did have the hots for someone! :mrgreen:

Thanks, I figured it was something like that, but wasn't sure. There is no name for this that I know of in french.
