Lately I've been whistling the Andy Griffith theme song around Einstein. Whenever he hears me sing it, his crest goes up and I can tell he's really listening to me. I never push him to do anything, I don't repeat the song over and over again, but I sing it a few times a day.

WELL

Today I was in the room next to mine, playing video games. Suddenly I hear the Andy Griffith song, not all of it, but a good part of it being song. Einstein is a bit on the shy side, so when I walked in the room to see him singing, he stopped. Anyways, I could tell he was proud of himself. I have him some millet, and he was on top of the world.

God I love this little guy. :cockatiel:

Be careful what you wish for!

Typically, Einstein only whistles when he thinks no one is listening. I was just waiting for the day when he would start whistling for me.

That day has come.

Last night me and my brother were having a movie night in my room. All throughout the movie my baby was wolf whistling, and partially singing the Addams Family theme song.

Now, he won't stop singing!

I'm not really complaining though, his bird songs are beautiful, and I'm proud of him for having the confidence to sing for me.
