Amazing talking Mynah

This is awesome....
was just getting some food next door and started chatting to the guy that works there, he knows i love parrots so he showed me this video on youtube. never heard about mynahs...i dont think they're even parrots but wow they can talk great!so cute, yea id spend the whole day conversing with a bird like this...typical blonde entertainment:D:D

(this is a really old post but i still couldn't help but post)

my mynah- shadow- talks crystal clear.
and i mean "CRYSTAL CLEAR".

(giggling) and no, they'r not parrots! theys soft billed!!!!!
when they talk, its like a REAL human is talking. that myna in the video isnt the original thing tho. the real branch is mainly of the great-hill-myna (if i remember correctly).
and BOY can they mimic. my mynah has a "voice of its own", and even can mimic the exact style and tone of my voice. sometimes when my mother calls for me, shadow replies "comming!" in my voice.
and thats when i'm nt even home! its SO confusing for my poor mom!
(as for me, i sure get a good kick outta it! lol)

plus they learn SO fast... shadow was only 5months when she started talking!
by the age of 1, she could sing a complete song- along with all the piano solo and all the words!
however she shuts right up when she senses camera.

This is the reason why I am also considering buying a parrot.
