Will my cockatiel going to whistle?

Postby chikha » Fri Feb 03, 2012 8:53 pm

I have a 4 month old cockatiel I don't know his gender yet since it's still young. When I got him, I always whistle to him a basic tune when I get close to his cage or when I put him on his T-stand. About a week ago my bird started to whistle the same tune that I taught him. Now, Every morning he will whistle that tune. Is this a sign that my bird can whistle and I can teach him a song in the future? I had a cockatiel before that I taught how to whistle kill bill song

Well, if he's already whistling, I'm pretty sure that's a sign he knows how to whistle. ;) Good luck teaching him a new tune!
