She gets enough distance that it is very difficult to see her when she is flying, I have to watch the video three times at least in order to keep my eye on her location as she all but disappears from view. This is a great field for her to fly in.

I was using a sportcam something like gopro. It has 170 degree view. Everything looks far and small.
At this field, I can leave the reel on the ground. Whereas, at the previous filed, I had to hold the line just in case Kilaya flew off course (towards the trees), I could pull him back a bit.

Hi, you are back! It has been a while since you last posted, I hope that you and yours are all alright. Also I missed your pictures and videos, there are many times that they are the high point of my day. I love my birds, but can't watch them fly outside the way that yours get to, anyway I missed them and your posts. Thanks for the new video, I just watched it three times.

Thanks.

I have not been taking videos for awhile. We still go out regularly. 4x a week hiking and during non hiking days, we go flying at the field. The condition of the big field is a bit bad due to regular raining these few weeks.

Another thing I want to share is the crows no longer posed a threat to Kilaya. The crows used to swarmed over Kilaya when we were at the field. Surprisingly, they now sit on the fence watching Kilaya flying. Maybe, they have accepted Kilaya as their neighbor.

I don't know, I hope that they have accepted her and will continue to leave her alone. Crows are pretty smart in their own right and when it comes to attacking other birds the seem to prefer the mob approach. Actually I have only seen the ones here doing this with hawks and owls so it definitely makes since to use this approach with these as there is safety in numbers.

I have been flying Kilaya for the last 2 weeks with crows around. It seems that the crows are no longer posing a threat. They don't care any more. Usually when one of them saw Kilaya, it would call the rest. And they would fly circling above us. I had to wait for them to leave before flying Kilaya. If they didn't leave, I had to leave then.
