Study to determine if there are birds that lead and birds that follow in a flock in flight (the study was done on pigeons) and -spoiler alert- there aren't BUT there are birds that are more influential than others only they are almost always at the center of the flock and keep at average spped, not at the head or the fastest - how cool is that?!
