People who don't know about parrots always get them wrong. Man claimed neighbor had stolen his bird - neighbor claimed it was his - now look what happened when they went with the 'arbitrator's' brilliant idea:

I think it was the police chief, actually... but, yes, he thought he was Solomon and that he had the perfect solution to the problem but the bird had the last laugh :lol: The stupidest thing was to do it outdoors. If they had done it indoors, the bird might have gone to its owner... if it had bonded to him, of course.

That’s kind of funny :lol: I hope the bird is doing okay and that domestication didn’t make it too hard to survive in the wild or something

This happened in India and the bird in question was, most likely, a poached IRN or an Alex so chances are the bird knew how to survive in the wild and joined a wild flock.
