Keeping a Low flight Grey Parrot Instead of Fully Clipped...

Hi
I want my Grey Parrot (DANNY) to fly freely in my home but in my country we have Summer here and the the Ceiling Fans is turned on all the time.I want him to keep flight but with out gaining Height to the roof or in to the Running Fan..Kindly tell me how to train this behavior or Should I short clip his long Flight Feathers...

i would either find a way to cage the fans so your :gray: doesn't get hurt or restrict him to an area where the fans can be shut off while he's free.we have one ceiling fan in our bedroom i cut it off in the morning before cages are open and turn it on at night after they go to bed.

Consider using enclosed box fans instead and disabling the ceiling fans.

Michael has a brilliant idea. Just make sure your birds don't land on it.
