We have Sky's cage in the living room between the sofa and the TV. Now our living room is large enough for Sky to fly around unhinderd by any obsticals and we dont have any closed doors so she is free to fly to any room she wants to and even upstairs.
Now we haven't had Sky for very long (6 months) and she's never flown out the front room door before today.
She flew into the kitchen and landed ontop of the cabinets. She had a wonder around for a few mins and then flew around the kitchen a few times then landed on the backdoor spagetti curtain. At first I thought she was stuck but she then proceeded to climb up and hang on the top of the door for a few min while having a good look around.
I managed to convince her to perch on my arm and I brought her back into the living room.
Hopefully this means she's becoming more comfortable in her suroundings to further explore her home.
