Target training Tilly

Postby Chantilly » Fri Nov 13, 2015 5:41 am

I started target training Tilly today. Geesh she picked it up fast!
I started of just putting it in front of her, but she will put in quite some effort to get to the target(chopstick :P)
Usually if I walk out of the room, she'll fly to me, so eventually i did this with the stick pointed at my arm.
She flies to me and crawls of my shoulder to get the target.
Lets see if she remembers any of it in the morning. Haha
She is very bright, but really, Im not sure if shes doing it for the sunflower or because she wants to chew the stick.
And anthough she be little, she is fierce ~Shakespeare

Actually you just want her to touch the stick not chew on it. It does sound like she is doing well with it, so keep on going with it.

I'm not letting her chew on it, but she tries to, grabs on and tuggs at it. Sorry if I wrote that wrong.
As soon as she see's the treat she drops it on her own anyway.
And Thanks :) I did it with her again today, geesh she is so cooperative with me right now!

No, I understood and this is normal for them, all of them do this right at first and it is really not a big deal.
