Bongo's story

Postby Bongo » Mon Mar 29, 2010 12:27 am

Hi, I've adopted Bongo three weeks ago and am amazed at how fast he's learned.

He was untamed when I got him, but just after one week when I taught him the roll over, he learnt it within 10 minutes! I then taught him to wave and spin, which was also successfull.

You can visit him here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ussrWJ5pjWI

I know this question is not relevent to trick training, but does anyone know why his feathers are much darker than other galahs? The video may not be clear, but his grey feathers specifically, are a very dark grey with a tinge of brown.

thanks!

He might be a hybrid ,or perhaps a natural sport(natural color mutation)

Also nice tricks !!

yes he is a smart bird, but he hasn't spoken yet. I think I may be too impatient.. or worried that he wont be able to speak at all :galah:

Don't be worried about him speaking. If he talks he'll do it in his own time. He looks really smart and has a really cute personality. Whether or not he talks you'll still have an amazing little parrot!
