I definitely would like to do that too. But you know what I think, this can be quite useful for shaping a flight routine. Once the bird learns that it has to fly through hoops, no matter how many you add it is simple. But this could be used to teach a flight routine I think. Let's say you take 3 or 5 hoops and stand them in a circle to go away and back to you. This could be used to teach out/return flights to your bird. Or what might be more interesting still is to set them up in a figure eight. Teach the bird to fly the figure eight pattern through rings, use a cue, slowly reduce number of hoops to none and have a bird that knows an actual flight routine. To make an even greater impact, have it be a 3 dimensional figure 8 where it dives down then turns around and goes up in an elliptical figure 8 that not only goes out and back but also up and down! What other creature could possibly do this!?
