Simona and I have been teaching Kalki flight and recall using Michael's training perches. It's going really well. Kalki was clipped when we got him and has now molted out all but his outer flight feather on each wing.

He really loves flying. He does a happy head bob anytime he does a particularly big flight. He's taking to the reward system so naturally.

One interesting thing I have noticed is that his word vocalizations have increased a great deal. He is saying "hello," "hi," "Kalki," and "good boy" much more often, and when directly interacting with is rather than randomly.

That's great to hear, seems like he is a happier bird when he is flying!! keep up the good work and put up some photos or videos we'd love to see them!
