hi
i was wondering if you would know anyways to train my bird to help my dad around the house with things. He has a brain injury from a car accident and has trouble turning the light switch on and opening jars and stuff. any ideas would be really appreciated. :gcc:

I have never heard of it. A bird could pick up things and bring them but I can't see one opening a jar.

yea i think that's possible. maybe if you could put a perch stand or something near the light switch and teach him to go switch it on and off on command. and maybe he could bring small things to your dad that are not too heavy. for a jar, you can buy an octopus. not joking. you can teach octopi to open jars
