My Cockatiel doing his tricks :D

Postby coolhady13 » Thu Mar 15, 2012 6:55 pm

Hi everybody ...

i know i have been away for along time, i havent updated about my cockatiel for long time
so i have successfully weaned him and that was like 7 month ago he is now about 1 year old have been training him since day 1 and thats the result of our hardwork :D ( btw i wasnt sure at first if he is a male or a female of course from the video its obvious that he is a male) also he sings at the end of the video i taught him to sing jingle bills . some members here thaught that buying a parrot for singing/talking ability is a bad idea but i always thaught that keeping the singing/talking ability in mind is a good thing and with right training methods you can teach your parrot to sing very easily,
Enjoy the Video :) :D .

Your tiel is truly a smart little parrot.

I believe cockatiels are the most preciouse of parrots. They try to communicate, sing, dance, talk and bring you joy.

My little flock of 6 answered when your parrot was singing.

Love it!! He looks very happy :) How's his diet nowadays? I know you have some trouble getting the healthy veggies in him.

thank you for your comment , I always find it funny how my cockatiel starts whistling if he heared a whistle from someone in the street and how he makes the microwave sound when he hear it :D

Wow he does the wings trick really well! I love how you got him to stretch them out so far! Good job. :) I just love cockatiels; I think they're one of my favorite species.

These little tiels have such good hearing. When I would bring a new one in, even before I cleared the door, they started calling it into the flock.

thank you , one of the things i forgot to mention is that 3 months ago he was already learned all these tricks but i kinda got busy with exams so i stopped training him for like 2 months or something and that made him totally forget all his tricks and i had to teach him them all over again but he did pick them up very fast :D
