Before I start... Is your bird comfortable with you touching his back? If not look for hand taming etc on Micheal's blog.

1) Have your bird perch on your finger
2) Cup your hand on your bird's back
3) Tip your bird backwards for a couple of seconds
NOTE: If your bird struggles tip him back upright
4) Tip him back upright and reward and praise your birdie
5) Contine this procedure until your bird is more comfortable lying on it's back.
6) Add a vocal cue
7) Continue this procedure with the vocal cue until your bird does it on command.

The key is to be patient!
