has anyone used them how safe is rubber for birds?

I don't know. I can't quite get my head around using anything made of rubber for the birds. I've not looked in to it, purely because it doesn't feel right :S

Yeah I've got 2 of those there pretty common you bend them how ever you like and it's kind of like a natural perch made fr rubber I've been using them for years it's good because you can connect it to any part of the cage inside or out or have it on top bent like an arch shape I definitely recommend them

and if you really don't feel comfortable with using rubber, most rope perches work in the same way. ;)
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.
