Should i free my bird?

Postby Raihan Taher » Fri Apr 12, 2013 6:54 am

I am very sad. One of my parrot(female) flew away this morning. She broke the door lock and flew away opening the door. But my other bird(male) is still in the cage, i don't know why he didn't flew away? What should i do now. Should i free my male bird also, or keep him with me? Won't he feel lonely if i keep him with me? What will be better for him?

I need suggestion. Please help me telling what should i do?

Thank You

1.Do not free your other bird.
2. try to get your other bird back asap

Thank you But the other bird flew away outside. I don't know where she is. May be she has gone very far. She can fly. And one other thing is that, may be 2 weeks before i had bought them, so she is not tamed that she will come back. I did wait all the day, but she didn't came back. Should i keep my male bird with me?

May be they are wild. Though i bought them from a person. But i think they were not born in human care. Because the person who sold me, couldn't give me proper information about the birds.

Releasing human raised birds into the wild is a death sentence. If the bird is wild caught, healthy, and strong and you release it in the vicinity of a flock of parrots of the same species, there is a chance it will survive.
