When all the hard work starts to pay off :')

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to share good news and progress on Bandit!!

First of all, good and sorta bad news. Good news is there was a small dinner gathering at my house, I was nervous that Bandit was going to freak out and bite and blah blah blah but he was a perfect angel. A little startled and tense at first when people walked then was climbing all over people to say hi. Haha. He even let people take him out of his cage, which is the only place he would ever be likely to bite!! A little bad news, he got his nails trimmed and one was cut far to short and was bleeding almost heavily, after a hole lot of tissue, flour and pressure it stopped but he kept lifting his foot up, it passed after a few minutes and off he went climbing all over people. I was more shaken then Bandit was... But over all the night was great and Bandit didnt mind new people.

Second, BANDIT EATS VEGETABLES OH MY GOD YES FINALLY!!! After 2 months of constantly offering different foods which he always tossed out of his bowl, Bandit finally decided that all my chopping, grating, mashing, dicing had to be for something good and now eats his vegetables! He loves all green vegetables now, only eats carrot if its cooked into something, he wont eat anything frozen or cold. Im still working on fruits but im not to fussed. It ridiculous now, once I couldnt find him and when i called his name I heard a chirp, turns out he had crawled into a paper bag and was gobbling away at MY broccoli inside. Seeds are history now!! Besides treats of course.

Third, come to think of it I hardly ever see the begging behaviour from him, maybe once or twice but barely! Im delighted!

Fourth, he finally decided that pulling the key board apart wasnt interesting... At least when im around, I can just imagine what the keyboard and everything he could get his beak of would look like if I left him for 20 seconds.

And finally, Im soon going to start taking Bandit outside and introduce him to the outside world!! Hopefully all goes well.

Whoa, sorry if I sound like Im bragging but Im just so relieved that everything is coming together, phew...
