why you shouldn't clip your parrot

Postby Pricey_boy » Sun Jun 16, 2013 11:07 am

i'm not gonna give heaps of paragraphs, all im gonna say is by clipping your bird your robbing it of the most fun it can have and the best exercise they can get. you'll have a much happier bird if you let them fly.

this is a video of bandit, he would spend all day doing this if i let him.

I agree 100%. But, out of curiosity, do you always have the curtains drawn where the birds are kept?

if i keep the curtains closed bandit will open them or stare out a little gap for large amounts of time so i like to keep that 1 curtain open for him and i like to open the windows also because he loves hearing the calls of the wild corellas. sometimes i'll open all curtains but that 1 curtain always stays open, but he doesnt spend to much time there because from around 10 am to about 7pm he spends in his large outdoor aviary atleast 3-4 times a week and he loves it.

Hahaha, Bandit is just like Tiki in that video :D

Tiki loves to just leap and fly around constantly for exercise alone.
