Stop parrot from chewing flightsuit?

Hi all!

Just wondering how all the flightsuit users out there got their birds to not chew on the straps. My Gylfie will let me put it on her, but once its on, she insists on chewing away LOL. I've heard of the bitter apple spray, but based on online reviews it doesn't seem to work 100% of the time, and has a weird smell.

When you put the suit on try making your bird perform tricks to distract from chewing. Im not a big fan of flight suits, have you tried a harness, i recommend aviatar, anyways try making her di a trick or something as simple as targeting to different places and reward and praise.

Oh haha, I should have known lol! I'm used to having big birds and I always used the aviatar
