Thanks Pajarita, I appreciate the reply. She was much better yesterday. I fed her corn on the cob, which kept her busy, and target trained her. We also spent some time outside. All seemed to improve her mood. I will never give up on my bird and will try my hardest to keep her good mood going. It does take dedication to work with a bird during this stage.

 Good for you GreenWing, I'm sure you'll get there. It's not easy, I know. Alfie is moulting like mad & was very irritable & nippy for a couple of weeks, hot on the heels of our other troubles, but I keep plugging away with the training Michael recommended and we're getting there. I guess it's good training for when we have to go through what you and Tiki are dealing with!

Thanks, Janet -- that means a lot! I had another good day with her; she made NO attempts to bite! :D I repeated the same process: food to forage, outside time, target training. She is getting so good at targeting! Senegals are such a delight, they have moods just like anyone else. It feels good to have my Sennie in a better mood.

BTW Janet, your Sennie is so cute! How is she doing? Is her molt going well? 'Hope she's not being as nippy right now.
