to hand feed I thought it was cruel to take a baby from his parents so young then while researching my 
s plucking/chewing habit I saw one of the causes was taking babies from parents to hand feed could be a cause for this and other health/behavior problems later on.4. clipping keeps birds from flying away, I never clipped my birds but never had an opinion on what others did with their own birds. now I see as many lost clipped birds but more recovery stories from fully flighted birds.
