My Green Cheek needs a friend

I have a 6 month old Green Cheek that I absolutely adore. She's extremely social and loves interacting with my family. I currently go to college and work, but someone in my family is always home with her right now. However, I just recently got engaged and I'm worried that my GCC is going to get extremely lonely after my fiance and I get married and I move out, since both of us go to school and work all day. She's currently out of her cage for about 10-12 hours a day, and I'm not opposed to letting fly around a bird- proof room while we're out in the future(she's flighted), but since she's so social, I was wondering if it would be safe to buy her a friend? I'm getting married in December, so I have a while to decide anything, but I'm also pretty inexperienced with birds. Does anybody have any suggestions? I was considering buying either another female GCC or a cockatiel, but I've heard that could be risky, and I don't want to end up with two birds that hate each other.

My GCCs all bonded very easily, one of them, a female, to a PeachFront male conure.

my loves all other birds he's been around sometimes to the point of annoying them I would have gone with another if my son's father who pays for everything hadn't been so against it he hates my penny and refuses to have another in the house. since he rarely denies me anything I had to give in.

Personally I wouldn't put a green cheek with a cockatiel as a companion as the conures can be quite the bully when they want. I would get another of the same or similar species which will increase the likelihood of a bond forming and they will be more evenly matched. There is a risk they wont get on but conures are quite sociable creatures.
