Rain Bath?

Its raining right now and i was just curious, is it ok to have your bird out in the rain and if so does anybody here bath their bird outside?

I would assume that if the weather is warm, there would be no harm. But it would still need to be done early in the day so the bird is completely dry by nightfall.
