I've just got my old cage out of the loft I can see dried parrot dander on it what's the best thing to remove it with please :macaw:

Soap, a hose, disinfectant and a lot of work, and more water :P! Rinse and repeat if necessary!

THIS. As an avian vet said to me, as well, soap and water will do the trick. Some people use apple cider vinegar as a natural disinfectant.

Just soak it with hot water, wait a bit and scrape it with those stripping steel brushes they sell in the hardware stores, then wash with soap and rinse.
