It depends on when he goes to bed. Mine never have a single issue with it but I clean their room when the sun starts to go down, turn off the light overhead halfway through it and give them dinner, they eat it while I finish (by then, all that's left is the floor) and go to roost immediately after I close the door with a 'Nite-nite, babies. I looooove youuuuuu' without a single complaint.

It's perfectly normal for a U2 to be a little moody and temperamental during bedtime. It could be a result of hormonal activity or something of the likes. Good luck with your bird!
