Should I Use This Bird Toy?

My GC Conure has a little plastic bird on a spring that sits on one of his perches. Because it's rather difficult to place on and off, I have not taken it out when I switched his toys. He loves to talk/scream at it and my mother says he plays aggresively with it. Should I take it out of his cage?

do you mean he is attacking people over it or just being rough with it? if he's attacking people I would take it out, if not I would leave it in. that is just my opinion

I don't think he is attacking people, although I haven't actually tried to take it from him!

I don't like springs for parrots, too easy to get a claw or the tip of the beak caught in it.
