lighting

So here it is what do you do about the right lighting for your parrots. I have read about UVB/UVA lighting, and that parrots need it for good health along with behavior. How much do they need? How long do they need it per day. And just really how close does the light need to be to the cage. I read a great article on the subject by a DVM, but when I went to look for it again it was gone. He stated that it did not need to be that close. Any thoughts on this and if you know of any articles on the subject please let me know.
Thanks everyone :D

I take mine outside as much as I can and then I don't worry about the lighting. From as far as I can tell and everything I'd tried, those bulbs are a scam anyway and don't do squat.
