Baby african grey with large butt?

Well my african greys baby's butt seems to be slightly large, it's not red or anything but it's a lot larger compared to any of my other parrots. I'm just wondering if there is something wrong? Do african greys tend to have larger behinds? Thanks

I know that it is a pain in the butt, but could you provide some pictures at different angles? There are some things that words fall a bit short on explaining and this is one of them for me. I just can't get a picture in my mind of this.

Yeah sure, honestly I think I'm just overreacting, and I think it's because he is a baby and when he sits on our hands hit butt sticks out. When he stands normally now that I'm looking it doesn't stick out much, but it does when he is leaning forward. Just want to make sure

Looks fine to me. I think that you are overreacting to any perceived difference between your idealized picture of what he should look like and what you think that he looks like. No one can ever live to another persons idealized picture of them.

Haha I'm just feeling nervous for him. I want him to be healthy and happy. :p lol but I agree I think I just over reacted. I think his big butt is cute hahah. Thanks again wolf C;

Actually, I would freak out too! Emmi's butt is not that big and I would think something was wrong! Lol Glad to know that it's normal for a Grey to have a big behind. Lol

I was going over your pictures again and I think that you may be right, at first look I was thinking that it was the way that the feathers were positioned, but I am not so sure, which is why I was going over them again.
Picture #2 is catching my attention so can you get a shot from directly behind and looking slightly upward along the plane of the tail? and one full frontal, so that I can see how wide the legs are.

Hold the bird on your hand with his legs up in the air and blow on the feathers covering the lower abdomen. Does the skin look distended? Red? Splotchy? Is the vent clean (no poop stuck to it) and of a normal color or does it look swollen and reddish? Follow the ribcage (chest) down with the tips of your fingers to the beginning of the abdomen, does the abdomen protrude from the ribcage, is it at the same level or is it a bit 'sunken'?

Your bird looks fine. Chance has a booty just like that, I think there's nothing to worry about here.
