I've also read that it's very easy for them to catch a disease in bird boarding accommodation, so I am now totally against that idea. I do trust his parents, they have experience with birds and they're literally always at home, so they will be with her all the time. Also, she has been to their home before so it won't be like dropping her off at a completely new place with new people for a whole weekend. I think it's just a case of the mother being more stressed out than the bird   & it's probably a good thing for her to go there because we're going away at the end of the year as well, for 5 days. So it'll probably be good to see the way she reacts first. I believe she will be fine though, she loves people and she absolutely loves attention. She also has no fear, she's a little daredevil.
