Oddly Behaving Senegal

If the video isn't working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwgmZX48Qdc

My five month :senegal: has been making these odd noises ever since I've gotten him. It usually starts when take him out after school and continues for a minute or two. It sounds cute, but I'm not sure if it's a sign that he's sick or not.

Let me know what you guys think
Thanks

Nothing odd your munchkin is in love with you. The only thing I would look at is this birds diet and light schedule. make sure that you have him on a solar light schedule and that his diet is not too high in protein as these could lead to you having a hormonal bird in the near future.

Classic Poicephalus skirt dance--check skirt dance on youtube. At 5 months old, I think your bird is just happy with you. Mine :meyers: did that when she was "underage" as well. When they are older it might indicate hormone issues, and too much protein and non-solar light could be culprits, but it is unlikely at his age.

I usually put my Corsair down when she starts dancing to discourage her now that she is older.
